I've heard that this National Day holiday, the Yichun Tangwang River Scenic Area is packed with people!!! Many facilities haven't kept up, so the experience for everyone isn't very good~
But if you come outside the peak travel season, it's really great!
First of all, Tangwang River Town is small with few residents, but overall very clean. When I drove here, I noticed all the beautiful small houses and the everywhere-present birch trees. I even said, "There are more trees by the roadside than people," making it a colorful town built in the forest!
🍃 The Tangwang River Forest and Stone Wonders Scenic Area is a five-minute drive from the town and is a 5A national scenic spot. It's quite suitable for a full day of sightseeing. Bring some snacks, and once inside, you can hike to look for mushrooms, feed little squirrels, and see various vegetation! You can also walk along the boardwalk by the creek, with the sound of flowing water nearby, breathe fresh air, and relax your body and mind~
PS: Parking here is inexpensive! There is also indoor luggage storage!
I think the whole town is very quiet and green, perfect for summer to escape the heat! (Of course, hotel prices in Yichun are not low, so hurry up and develop to bring hotel prices down✊)
