Taoyuan Zhongli|Night Market Value List: Top Three Must-Try Items

When visiting Taoyuan, you definitely have to check out the night market, a one-stop destination for food, drinks, and entertainment. The stalls mainly focus on food, complemented by clothing, 3C gadgets, and daily necessities. There are also classic game booths like balloon shooting and fish scooping 😃.
Due to the hot weather, we decided to buy a bunch of food and enjoy it back at the hotel.

🌮 Stone-Baked Flatbread:
Freshly baked flatbread with both sweet and savory options. The half-moon-shaped flatbread has a thin, crispy exterior and offers a variety of fillings. This stall is very popular, with quite a long queue.

🦑 Grilled Squid (312C):
After checking out several stalls, we found this one offering freshly grilled squid for TWD 100 to be the most appealing. The squid is tender and juicy, with a chewy texture, and the seasoning makes it even more flavorful.

🐷 Scallion Pork Rolls:
Thick slices of pork belly wrapped around Sanxing scallions, making for a hearty portion! The vendor cuts them into pieces and packs them in a box for easy eating. The pork roll has a slightly charred exterior, while the scallions soak up the meat juices, giving a crispy, sweet, and savory taste.

We also bought fried mushrooms, crab soup, Japanese-style okonomiyaki, and desserts. The three of us were completely stuffed.
📊 Total: TWD 620 (approximately HKD 55/person)
