🛤️ Panlong Ancient Road (Dragon-shaped Winding Road)
30km mountain route with 639 bends - mostly S-curves and hairpin turns (not recommended for novice drivers)
⛰️ Elevation: 3,000-4,200m. Since 2023, one-way traffic only for vehicles with ≤7 seats. Enter via Big Panlong section, exit via Small Panlong.
📍 Starting point: Navigate to "Panlong Ancient Road". The western starting point is beside Line 2710, ~30min drive from Tashkurgan town.
Route: Uphill → Shuixiu Viewing Platform → Dragon Ridge Mountain Walkway (Big Panlong) → Small Panlong → Exit. Full journey takes 1-1.5hrs. The real winding road views begin at Dragon Ridge.

⚠️ Tips:
1. Beware of altitude sickness - elevation ranges 3,000-4,600m starting from White Sand Lake
2. Stay hydrated and moisturize hands/body due to dry climate
3. Strong UV protection essential - bring hats, masks, sunglasses
4. Large temperature variations - carry warm layers
