🚗Day 1 | Stay in a Breathing Forest Cabin
The moment you push open the wooden door of "Sanyue," the creaking sound of the heavy door brings a rush of natural wood scent 🌲 The B&B's terrace faces grass huts surrounded by forest. Brew a pot of ancient tree tea from Gaoligong Mountain and watch the clouds and mist weave through the trees up to the mountaintop (Photo: panoramic view of the terrace in morning mist). Dinner is Tengchong's local specialty, Copper Pot Beef—the simmering aroma from the copper pot will make your mouth water!
♨Day 2 | Exclusive Lotus Hot Springs
Rise early for forest yoga in the thin mist 🧘♀ The moss still carries morning dew, and each breath feels like your lungs have been washed with mint. In the afternoon, enter the Lotus Hot Springs located in "Egret Hometown" Lotus Town. They say soaking in these springs gives you fair skin, beauty, and long legs. The hot springs sit on Tengchong's main geothermal vein with an average annual temperature of 18°C, making it one of Yunnan's rare kaolin hot spring core areas. The spring water comes from 103°C underground rock layers and is rich in silicic acid, iron, carbonate, and other minerals. Nationally certified as a premium medicinal hot spring, it has remarkable effects on skin whitening, restoration, and rheumatism treatment.
🌄Day 3 | Gaoligong Mountain Private Hiking Trail
Follow a local guide into the primeval forest, stepping on soft moss carpets to find ancient trees wearing "sweaters" of moss. The waterfalls you encounter are breathtaking—spread out a picnic blanket beside a hundred-meter waterfall, grill meat on volcanic stone plates, and enjoy ground-pot tea. The crispy sounds might attract curious squirrels from the branches!
✨Three-Day Two-Night Slow Guide
✔Transportation: Self-driving recommended, 1.5-hour drive from Baoshan Airport
✔Outfit: Light jacket + non-slip shoes, forest temperature varies significantly
Important Details:
1. Mainly bring [spring/summer clothes], such as [long pants + long-sleeve shirts/short sleeves + long-sleeve jacket]. You'll need a jacket before noon, can wear just a long-sleeve shirt/short sleeve in the afternoon, and need to put the jacket back on around 6 PM when the sun sets.
2. Bring all [sun protection] gear, including [hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, parasol, face covering (full-face mask)].
3. [Swimwear] doesn't take up much space but should be brought for possible visits to public hot springs like Rehai Valley or Lotus Hot Springs.
4. If you plan to hike Gaoligong Mountain, bring an extra pair of [hiking boots] or [shoes with good traction] + windbreaker + knee pads.
Hiking Clothing Method:
1. Inner layer: moisture-wicking against skin
2. Outer layer: windbreaker for warmth + protection (prevents branches from catching clothes)
The healing feeling of escaping the concrete jungle comes in that moment when you open your window in the morning and lock eyes with a squirrel holding a pine cone 🌰 This May Day holiday, immerse your soul in Tengchong's 21°C painting-like scenery!
