This trip, we departed from Beijing for only 30 minutes by high-speed train, heading to Tianjin, a historical port city with a perfect blend of European and Chinese influences.
🌉 Our first destination was Tianjin Eye – a Ferris wheel on the Haihe River, which is known as one of the city’s most beautiful viewpoints. This Ferris wheel is located on Yongle Bridge and rotates slowly, taking about 30 minutes per round. Looking down, you can see the city and the river as far as the eye can see, especially in the evening when the sun sets, it’s so romantic!
⛩️ Stop by to pray at Dabeiyuan Temple, an old and peaceful temple.
📷 Finally, head to Fifth Avenue (Wudadao), an old Western-style residential area that used to be home to diplomats. The architecture is very beautiful.
📍 How to get there: From Beijing, take the high-speed rail for about 30 minutes.
🕘 Tianjin Eye opens: 18:00–22:00 (It is recommended to book tickets in advance during festivals).
⸻
For those who want to experience China in a different and charming way Tianjin is the answer. Easy to travel, nice atmosphere, culture, food and many photo spots! 🧳🇨🇳✨
