Tianjin Natural History Museum in China

Located in Tianjin, China, the Tianjin Natural History Museum spans an area of 57,000 square meters with a total building area of 35,000 square meters. The design was undertaken by Japan's Takamatsu Shin Architectural Design Office and Kawaguchi Structural Design Office, and the museum officially opened in January 2014. The predecessor of the Tianjin Natural History Museum was the "Beijiang Museum," established in 1922 by Frenchman Emile Licent within the Tianjin Business College. This museum was opened to the public in May 1928, showcasing plant specimens, animal specimens, rocks, and animal skeletons.
