EBC (Mt. Qomolangma Base Camp)

Everest Base Camp on the Chinese (Tibetan) side, also known as Qomolangma in Tibetan, is situated at an altitude of 5,200 meters above sea level. It offers breathtaking views and stunning natural beauty. This location serves as the starting point for those aiming to climb Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, from the Chinese side. Visitors can only travel here through a tour company, which will also handle the required Tibet permit. A trip to EBC typically takes about 5-6 days.

To visit EBC, you need to be in good physical health. It is recommended to prepare your body beforehand. Adjusting to the high altitude may take some time, so it’s important to walk slowly, drink plenty of water, and get ample rest.
