The "Yamori," made from sacred bamboo in the shrine grounds for warding off evil and bringing good luck, is said to be the origin of the hamaya (demon-breaking arrow)⟡.·

It is believed that disasters caused by vengeful spirits were transformed, and the deity is worshiped as a god with great spiritual power and traditionally as a "god who protects luck." This shrine is famous for blessings of victory, good fortune, and matchmaking⛩️⟡.·
