[Tokyo, Ebisu] Luigi Ghirri: Endless Landscapes

At the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, "Luigi Ghirri: Endless Landscapes," featuring one of Italy's leading contemporary photographers, is currently on display.

This retrospective exhibition consists of about 130 works, ranging from Ghirri's early pieces taken while working as a surveyor to his later photographs of Aldo Rossi and Morandi's studios. It is Ghirri's first solo museum exhibition in Asia.

The highlight is undoubtedly the photographs of Morandi's studio. You can feel Ghirri's gaze, reminiscent of Morandi's brushstrokes, which deeply moves you.

The light, color, and space captured by Luigi evoke a sense of intimacy and nostalgia that everyone possesses, leaving a profound imprint on memory.
