Kasai Rinkai Aquarium

Tokyo has a fun aquarium! The Kasai Rinkai Aquarium features a very unique exterior design, with a distinctive glass dome created by internationally renowned architect Yoshio Taniguchi. Once inside, you'll discover a whole new world, as if you were underwater. The aquarium houses over 600 species of aquatic animals from around the world. A must-see is the giant tuna here; it's rare to find such a large number and size of bluefin tuna in other aquariums! There are also daily tuna feeding and commentary sessions, so be sure to check the schedule!
