Tokyo | Free place to enjoy cherry blossom in the evening

Meguro River is a must-visit cherry blossom spot. When I traveled with my parents in April, we caught the early blossoms. After dark, the pink cherry blossoms under the lights were absolutely stunning.


The area around the river was packed with people, but the crowd control was very well managed — staff were present to guide the flow and remind everyone not to stay in one place too long.


If you get the chance, definitely come here for photos and to soak in the atmosphere. It’s also a great idea to grab a bite at one of the nearby restaurants — a really chill experience.
