Capturing the Autumn Gold in the City: The Ginkgo Trees of Yoyogi Park and an Afuri Ramen Feast

On this crisp autumn day, I set out on a journey to Yoyogi Park, eager to witness the legendary golden ginkgo scenery.
As soon as I entered the park, I was greeted by a stunning sea of yellow. Sunlight filtered through the dense ginkgo leaves, casting beautiful shadows on the ground. Beneath my feet lay a thick layer of golden fallen leaves, rustling softly as I walked, as if playing an autumn concerto. I couldn’t help but bend down to pick up a perfectly intact ginkgo leaf, carefully admiring its unique fan shape, raising it toward the blue sky to savor the beauty of autumn.
Besides the ginkgo trees, other trees in the park had also donned their autumn attire. Some leaves had turned vibrant red, intertwining with the yellow ginkgo leaves to create a colorful masterpiece. In the center of the park, a massive pine tree stood proudly, showcasing a distinctive and majestic beauty. I strolled along the wide paths, watching people leisurely walk under the sunlight, feeling the tranquility and vitality this urban oasis brought.
After my walk in the park, my growling stomach led me to a ramen shop called "AFURI." The shop’s decor was simple, bright, and modern. I ordered a bowl of ramen that looked incredibly delicious—the broth was clear, the noodles springy, topped with large slices of chashu pork, a soft-boiled egg, and seaweed, garnished with refreshing mizuna greens. Just looking at it made my mouth water. This warm bowl of ramen perfectly capped off my autumn trip to Yoyogi Park.
This journey not only immersed me in the autumn beauty of Yoyogi Park but also allowed me to savor delicious ramen. The perfect combination of nature and cuisine made this autumn even more unforgettable.
