Meiji Jingu Shrine

#tokyospots
I visited Meiji Jingu during my trip to Tokyo, and it was such a beautiful and peaceful place. The moment I walked through the huge wooden gate, I felt like I left the busy city behind and entered a calm forest.

The path to the shrine is surrounded by tall trees, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The shrine itself is simple but impressive, and I enjoyed seeing a different side of Japanese culture.

It’s not about lots of attractions or things to do, but more about the feeling you get while walking there. I really liked the contrast between the quiet shrine and the lively streets just outside.
