Visit to Tsujihan Nihonbashi Main Branch

#Tsujihan Nihonbashi Main Branch (つじ半 日本橋本店) I visited on my June #Tokyotrip.

I was looking forward to it even before I went,
and it's definitely a place I want to go back to.

A tip: Even though it wasn't meal time,
there was quite a wait ⏰

✔️ There's a wait almost all the time.
✔️ Cash only! Be sure to prepare 💴

The menu I chose was "Matsu."

It's a basic ume (salmon roe, tuna, nakaochi, shrimp, conch, king squid, herring roe, cucumber, and green onion) with added crab, sea urchin, and salmon roe.

Since the kitchen is open, you can watch the kaisendon being prepared right away, which was fascinating to watch. 👀

The key is to dip the first sashimi in the sauce and then save it for later use in the ochazuke!

✔️ Finish off your ochazuke with sea bream broth
