This is probably one of the most upscale hotels in Toyama. You can't find a more convenient location—it's practically integrated with the station's shopping complex. Exit the south entrance (main entrance) of Toyama Station, turn right, and you're there!

The lower floors (1st to 4th) of the Vischio Hotel are occupied by the MAROOT shopping center, featuring stores like Muji and LoFt, which are perfect for browsing. The hotel reception is located on the 5th floor, and the lobby exudes a luxurious vibe. It includes a private lounge and a bathhouse with a spacious hot spring pool and even a sauna.

This hotel is positioned as a four-star boutique business hotel. The breakfast is particularly enticing, offering freshly made sushi prepared by a chef on-site, with unlimited servings (5-6 varieties). I was so tempted that I immediately added a breakfast option at the front desk.

Is it expensive? I stayed over the weekend in a standard double room (approximately 5-6 pings) for NT$2,343. It seems reasonably priced, but you need to book at least three months in advance. If you check closer to your stay date, the price might double!

Why does Vischio feel so luxurious? It's not about being overly grand or extravagant but rather the attention to detail.

For instance, the curtains are double-layered, with a sheer inner layer for light diffusion and a thick outer layer for blackout. The lounge and bathhouse require room card access, adding a sense of security and peace of mind.
