[Yamagata] Shigeru Ban Construction Suiden Terrace

I've always wanted to visit Shigeru Ban's Suiden Terrace.
The building is only reflected in the rice paddies like a mirror for a short period of time each year, and recently, the period when the water is filled has been shortened to be more environmentally friendly.

Winter in Yamagata is, of course, cold, but the inside of the building is warm despite the many windows, and the warmth of the wood makes it a relaxing place.

The exterior has a symmetrical look that architecture lovers love, and I really liked how it blends in with the rice paddies and fits in with the scenery.
