📱1. Communication essentials: Stay connected while traveling abroad! Remember to bring your phone and charger. A Peruvian SIM card is also important, which you can buy at a local supermarket after arrival or order online in advance. Also, don't forget a plug adapter, as Peruvian power plugs may differ from those at home.
🎫2. Documents: Avoid any travel hassles by bringing your passport, Peruvian visa, ID card, driver's license, and credit card. You may also need some English versions of medicine instructions, just in case.
👕3. Essential clothing: February is summer in Peru, but the weather is changeable, and it may be a little cool in the morning and evening. Bring some light long-sleeved and short-sleeved T-shirts, a sun-protective shirt, and a pair of long pants. Also, don't forget a hat and sunscreen to protect your skin!
📷4. Photography equipment: Peru is beautiful, so capture the memories! Bring your favorite photography equipment, such as a DSLR, phone, GoPro, or drone. Remember to bring enough memory cards and spare batteries!
💊5. Personal hygiene and medicine: Don't let illness ruin your trip, so bring essential medicine, disinfectant, and wet wipes. Altitude sickness medicine is a must, as Machu Picchu and Puno are located on a plateau. Also, don't forget seasickness medicine, as you may go out to sea to see dolphins!
