[Okinawa Prefecture] Enjoy a scenic drive on the underwater road

Stretching approximately 5km from the Katsuren Peninsula in Uruma City, Okinawa Prefecture, this scenic road stretches for a stunning 5km.
Be amazed by the blue sea and sky, and the breathtaking views as far as the eye can see!

In the center of the Mid-Sea Road is the Road Park, which can be used as a rest area for drivers and cyclists.
You can view the Mid-Sea Road from the footbridge, or descend to the beach and enjoy the beautiful ocean.

And a must-stop spot along the way is the Ayahashi Sea Station.

On the first floor, there is a souvenir shop selling Uruma City specialties, and on the second floor, there is the Maritime Culture Museum, which is open for free.
The museum displays valuable fishing equipment and wooden boats, and you can learn about Okinawa's maritime history.
The model of a Maran ship, a designated cultural property of Uruma City, is definitely worth a visit.
