Gothic masterpiece with grand halls, prisons, and the Bridge of Sighs.
Lunch:
•Caffè Florian (historic, elegant, pricey) or try a nearby osteria for cicchetti (Venetian tapas).
Afternoon:
•Grand Canal Tour by Vaporetto (Line 1)
Hop on and ride from Piazzale Roma to San Marco – best way to see palazzi lining the canal.
