This was not a standard haunted house; it was an utterly sublime piece of immersive theater. The organizers successfully transformed the Belvedere Gardens into the decaying, spectral court of a cursed Hapsburg dynasty. The sheer scale of the event, spanning the axis between the Upper and Lower Palaces, was breathtaking. The terror here is profound and atmospheric, relying on silent, unrelenting melancholy rather than cheap jump scares. Actors, dressed in perfectly tailored, dust-covered court attire, simply stood and stared from a distance, using the vast symmetry to make you feel completely exposed and insignificant. It felt less like a walk-through and more like being trapped in a beautiful, decaying oil painting that was slowly driving you mad. The attention to historical detail elevates this to a world-class experience.
