This summer vacation, I only took the kids to one place: Wanning

Because Wanning is really so much fun 🥳 Last time we came back, the kids were already begging to go again, so as soon as the holiday started, I brought them to Wanning 🤩
Surfing 🏄‍♀️, playing in the sand and collecting shells 🐚, enjoying an entire beach just with the kids 🏖️—it’s truly amazing.
Paddleboarding on tropical rivers 🚣, diving off coconut trees 💦, snorkeling at Jiajing Island 🤿—this is the perfect place for water fun in summer! 🥳
Hunting crabs 🦀 and chasing little fish 🐟 at low tide, then enjoying a delicious seafood feast 🍽️.
In the evening, feeling the sea breeze while watching the sunset over Orange Bay 🌅—so romantic and relaxing~ 🥰

Let me share our 5 days and 4 nights itinerary, packed with rich experiences. This Wanning trip was totally worth it!

DAY 1: Haikou - Check-in at The Ritz-Carlton
✨ Right after landing, we had a private car to take us to the hotel for check-in.
✨ Perfect for staying with kids, with a kids’ playground 🎠, LEGO blocks 🧩, and an infinity pool 🏊—we could play all day without getting bored.
The hotel staff even prepared special bath products 🧴 just for the kids 👧.

DAY 2: Jialang River Paddleboarding Adventure - Seaside Afternoon Tea
✨ First time paddleboarding, the coach was super professional 🏅, even a beginner like the kids had a blast 😃.
✨ Diving off coconut trees 💦 was thrilling 😮—summer is all about water fun to cool off! 🧊
✨ After getting out of the water, we stopped at a rainforest café, sipping a Hainan fresh coconut Americano 🧉 while feeling the sea breeze 🌬️—so cozy and relaxing.

DAY 3: Jiajing Island Catamaran Sea Carnival - Tide Pooling
✨ Jiajing Island is as beautiful as a painting 🖼️, I only just realized it’s the real deal with crystal-clear waters 🪞😮.
✨ Jet skiing, banana boat rides 🛶, sea slides 🛝, snorkeling 🤿 where we saw tropical fish 🐠 and colorful coral reefs 🪸—so much fun we couldn’t stop!
✨ Went tide pooling with the kids, collecting little sea snails 🐚, razor clams, and catching small crabs 🦀. We even turned our catch into a seafood feast 🍽️—super delicious 😋.

DAY 4: Xinglong Coffee Plantation - Wanning Surfing
✨ The moment we entered the plantation, the rich coffee aroma ☕️ hit us. The plantation had such a tropical vibe 🌴, it felt like we were in Chiang Mai.
✨ Grinding coffee with the kids, the coffee tasted richer and more intense than anywhere else 🤤. The coffee chicken 🐓 flavor was unique too—apparently, these chickens are raised on coffee beans.
✨ In the afternoon, we went surfing 🏄‍♀️. While the coach 🧑‍🏫 explained the techniques, the kids were already eager to try.
✨ With 4 professional 🏅 coaches accompanying us, the safety was top-notch 💪. After just a short time, the kids could stand on the surfboard by themselves!
✨ The kids even received a Level 1 surfing certificate 📄 issued by the General Administration of Sport of China, so excited they surfed for a long time and didn’t want to leave 🤣.

✅ Wanning offers many water activities like paddleboarding, snorkeling, and surfing, all requiring professional guidance. To ensure the kids could play safely and have fun, I specially signed up for a parent-child group tour. Besides professional coaches, it included hotel accommodation, private transfers, attraction tickets, and photography services—safe and convenient!
