United States Botanic Garden

I visited the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington, DC in late July, when the weather was extremely hot and humid. Since many of my friends recommended this place, I decided to go.

Finding the entrance was not easy Google Maps directed me to doors that were actually closed, so I had to walk around the fence until I finally found the right way in. By the time I entered, I was already a bit tired and annoyed.

Inside, I expected to escape the heat, but instead the air felt even hotter and heavier than outside. Because of that, I couldn’t enjoy the visit and didn’t stay for long.

I would recommend visiting this garden in the winter season, when the warmth and tropical atmosphere inside would feel much more pleasant.
