🌟Highlights: Wenchang Xuegong, also known as the Confucian Temple, was built in the Qingli period of the Northern Song Dynasty (1040-1048 AD). It was moved to its current location and rebuilt in the 8th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1375 AD). It was rebuilt many times in the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is the most complete existing ancient building complex in Hainan. Among them, the Confucius Temple is known as the "No. 1 Temple in Hainan".
Wenchang Xuegong is a cultural relics protection unit in Hainan Province and a national key cultural relics protection unit.
