A Rare Floral Wonder: Green Sakura at Xihui Park

We were thrilled to discover the unusual green cherry blossoms,a rare variety that glowed like jade under the clear blue sky! While most visitors chase pink sakura, these delicate Gyoiko green blossoms offered a magical surprise, their subtle yellow-green petals shimmering in the sunlight. The late-blooming Fugenzo cherry tree were also in full splendor, their fluffy pink flowers creating a dreamy contrast against the park’s ancient pavilions. Strolling past the Second Spring Under Heaven and Huishan Temple,we found pockets of tranquility where we could admire both the quirky green blooms and classic pink Sakura proof that spring’s beauty comes in many shades.
