At DeFaChang (德发长), this legendary spot for dumpling banquets, every dumpling is made fresh by the masters in a semi-open kitchen on the first floor. But my foodie adventure got an instant upgrade—I was escorted upstairs to level two, where the view of the Bell Tower is totally next-level (seriously, the cityscape is Insta-worthy 📸).

Pro tip: When you sit down, the menu will probably show only à la carte options, which means you’ll get 10 dumplings of the same type on one tray. Don’t settle—ask for the set menu! It’s a total flex, letting you try loads of different dumpling flavors, plus appetizers and desserts to keep your taste buds buzzing.
