🔥Xi'an's top autumn viewing destination! See the thousand-year-old ginkgo trees fall all over the Zen temple~

At the foot of Mount Zhongnan in Xi'an lies the ancient Guanyin Temple, home to a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree. It's a popular destination during ginkgo season.

The temple is quite far from the city center, so a taxi is recommended. If driving, simply navigate to "Guanyin Temple." Parking is available.

There are fewer crowds around 10 a.m., but the ginkgo leaves appear greener at this time. It's not until around 11 p.m. that the sun finally reaches them, and they turn a brilliant golden yellow.


Tips
✅The best viewing period is usually from late October to mid-to-late November. Due to rain this year, there may be delays, so please stay tuned for official announcements.
✅ Reservations are not required during normal temple seasons. Advance reservations are required during ginkgo season. Please refer to the official WeChat account for specific requirements.

🚗 Transportation: Take a taxi from downtown or take bus 916 to Shinan Village and walk a short distance.

🕐 Opening Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Exit only after 4:30 PM (gate opens at 8:30 AM on the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month).
