I heard Ningbo has a magical spot to watch the sunrise, and this time I finally checked in at Ninghai’s top hiking spot — Donghai Cloud Peak! The main peak, Mozhu Peak, stands at 872.6 meters. Standing on Ninghai’s highest peak in the east to watch the sea of clouds and sunrise is simply breathtaking. I even unexpectedly witnessed the spectacular fiery cloud phenomenon 🌄

🌟 Hiking Guide:
📍 Location: North of Liyang Town, Ninghai County, Ningbo City
Recommended to start at 4 AM, navigate directly to the Donghai Cloud Peak Scenic Area parking lot
It takes about 1.5 hours to reach the summit from the trailhead
Remember to bring a flashlight, water, and energy snacks

At sunrise, the sea of clouds rolls, and the moment the morning light dyes the horizon red is truly stunning!
The best photo spot is at the Mozhu Peak viewing platform
On the way down, you can also see waterfalls and bamboo forests

💡 Useful Tips:
1. Be sure to check the weather forecast! Clear days have a higher chance of seeing the sea of clouds and sunrise
2. Wear non-slip hiking shoes, as some sections are quite steep
3. Bring a jacket, as the temperature difference between the summit and the base can be 5-8 degrees Celsius
4. Bring a power bank, the scenery is so beautiful you won’t want to stop taking photos
