Jianchang Ancient City

Jianchang Ancient City is the "city memory card" of Xichang. It was originally built during the Han Dynasty and has undergone repairs for thousands of years. It still retains the street and alley layout as well as the blue bricks and gray tiles from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Inside the ancient city, the city towers such as Gongchen Gate and Datong Gate stand tall and majestic. Old brand shops and traditional residences are scattered throughout. Strolling along the bluestone paths, you can both touch the weathered traces of history and encounter the lively local customs of Liangshan. It is a must-visit place to experience the blend of ancient and modern Xichang.
