Impressions of Qinghai preserved in time - Qinghai Provincial Museum

#AprilGoodDestinations2025
Qinghai Provincial Museum is a door leading to a thousand years of time. The exterior is solemn and simple, but once you step inside the museum you will feel a sudden sense of openness. The various exhibition areas are laid out according to the era. From bronze ware, thangkas, ethnic costumes to animal and plant specimens, each collection is like a whisper of history, making people willing to stop and gaze. Especially the Tu and Tibetan cultural areas, which made me deeply feel the charm of diversity and integration.
What interested me most was the exhibition on the Qinghai section of the Silk Road. The remaining artifacts and route maps seemed to reconstruct the scene of caravans crossing the plateau thousands of years ago. Although the exhibition hall is not ostentatious, it is simple and moving, like a thick book, with surprises and respect hidden in every page. In the Qinghai Provincial Museum, time slows down, history and the present quietly dialogue with each other, making people sincerely admire the cultural depth of this land.
