Kicking off summer vacation, our family embarked on the first stop→Xiong'an!!! Here’s the detailed guide. Moms, follow this itinerary for a hassle-free trip with your kids!
🚗 **Transportation**: About a 1-hour drive from Beijing—super convenient! For those who prefer not to drive, high-speed rail is a great alternative.
🏨 **Accommodation**: Rongheyuan • Xiong'an International Hotel
With elderly parents and kids in tow, we chose this hotel for its comprehensive facilities. It offers everything: kids can swim or play at the Swan Castle Children’s Park, while grandparents enjoy swimming or tennis 🎾. The hotel features a classic Chinese garden design, and my parents loved strolling through the grounds 👍.
⌚️ **Itinerary**:
**Day 1⃣️**: Drive to Xiong'an International Hotel
- Check-in at noon → Settle in → Afternoon tea at Moonview Island.
- Refreshed → Family swim time 🏊! The pool has dedicated sections, including a warm kids' pool—so comfortable!
- After burning energy → A romantic dinner! We booked the Jing-A Craft Beer Garden BBQ. Dining with a sunset view was pure bliss 😊.
**Day 2⃣️**: Baiyangdian Lake Adventure
- Rowed boats with kids and parents through reed marshes, interacted with waterbirds up close, and picked lotus flowers 🪷—pure joy! The whole family was thrilled and didn’t want to leave!
- Lunch at Baiyangdian scenic area → Savored local delicacies.
- Afternoon break at the hotel → Took the kids to Swan Castle for playtime! Hands-free parenting achieved!
- Dinner at the hotel’s Yue Shang All-Day Dining Mediterranean Buffet—diverse, delicious, and flawless 👍.
**Day 3⃣️**: Xinma Forest Zoo
- Just a 10-minute drive from the hotel with ample parking ✅.
- Combines a zoo + amusement park—a kid’s paradise!
- After fun-filled hours → Returned to Beijing!
