Tucked away in the forests of Yamanashi, Restaurant AjI offers a peaceful retreat with views of a serene bamboo grove from every seat—whether you’re at the dining table or the cozy café counter.

We visited for a quiet sweets time and ordered the seasonal dessert plate featuring apple and sweet potato, served with roasted green tea (houjicha) and coffee. The staff carefully brewed my tea right in front of me, creating a sense of calm and ceremony.

Beautiful tableware, refined flavors, and the view of swaying bamboo made this an unforgettable experience.
