The Alila Yangshuo Sugar House, a hotel converted from an old sugar mill, exudes a luxurious feel. The beautiful building, designed by a talented artist, features a stunning light show at night, illuminating the hotel and the nearby karst mountains.

The hotel's public facilities are a highlight, and the bar boasts a talented mixologist, making excellent cocktails. Spend some time relaxing in the library or spa for an extra touch of grandeur, or enjoy a hearty breakfast.

Transportation is a bit inconvenient, but you can take the high-speed rail to Yangshuo Station and then take a taxi for around 100-150 RMB. The hotel also offers a paid shuttle, but it's more expensive, starting at 400 RMB.

The rooms offer stunning views of the karst mountains and beautiful balconies. The spacious rooms and comfortable beds ensure a good night's sleep. Facilities include a gym and swimming pool. The outdoor pool offers stunning views, directly overlooking the mountains and water, reminiscent of a landscape painting.

Unfortunately, the management team was changed later. Although the hardware facilities are still beautiful, the service quality has declined, which is a pity.
