As I wandered through Yangshuo, I kept stumbling upon beautiful statues hidden in parks, temple courtyards, and quiet corners of the town. Each sculpture seemed to tell its own story — from serene Buddha figures radiating calm, to playful or symbolic pieces celebrating local culture and nature.

What made them special wasn’t just their craftsmanship, but how naturally they blended into the landscape. The mountains behind, the trees above, and the soft sound of the river nearby made every statue feel alive, as if it were part of Yangshuo’s spirit itself.
