Hotel Review ~ DoubleTree by Hilton Yantai Golden Coast

🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness:
The soundproofing is really poor - you can clearly hear people talking in the hallway. The construction quality is also somewhat concerning. Every time the neighbor closes their door, my door shakes noticeably with loud noise, which significantly affects rest.

🏘️Room Type/Layout:
As a Gold member, I was upgraded to a sea view room. Since the hotel isn't right by the sea, you can only see the ocean from a distance. The room is just over 30 square meters, with more space allocated to the living area, so there's no bathtub in the bathroom. I really liked the long desk - very convenient for eating and working on the computer. The bathroom is surprisingly small - I almost doubted this was a DoubleTree property [JoyTears]

🛌Amenities/Facilities:
The welcome gift included a special local apple snack which was quite tasty. Other amenities follow Hilton brand standards.

💰Average Cost:
At over 400 yuan, there are many alternatives in Yantai at this price point. The value for money is average, though service is decent.

💗Other Tips:
A pleasant surprise was the availability of evening cocktails (HH), which was offered to Gold members too. While the food selection was limited, it's still a nice perk.
