Family! Who knows about this! I discovered a magical spot in Yichang — Three Gorges Family! This place is literally nature’s air-conditioned room, perfect for a summer trip to cool off and have a blast!

✨ Must-visit highlights:

1. The riverside plank road is stunning: The plank road built along the cliff, with emerald green river water beneath your feet, every shot looks like a scene from a fantasy martial arts drama where you’re flying on a sword! Posting on social media got me bombarded with questions if I was abroad!
2. Tujia girls are super photogenic: Girls in ethnic costumes washing clothes and singing by the stream — the scene is amazing! You can even learn to dance the hand-waving dance with them. Even someone as uncoordinated as me could get the vibe~
3. Monkey brothers are on duty: The wild monkey troop in the mountains is adorable! But be careful, they’ll snatch your snacks (don’t ask how I know), so it’s best to hide your food in your bag!

💡 Travel tips:

· Best to go in the morning when there are fewer people and the lighting is perfect for photos
· Definitely take the scenic ferry; viewing the scenery from the river is the right way to experience it
· Wear comfortable shoes! There’s quite a bit of hiking but it’s worth it

This place really changed my perception of traditional scenic spots — it has the beauty of mountains and rivers plus the charm of folk customs, and most importantly, it’s really cool! Grab your girlfriends for a weekend trip, you’ll be raving about it when you get back!
