A Relaxing Trip in Jiaoxi, Yilan

Just came back from a perfect little getaway in Jiaoxi — one of Taiwan’s best hot spring towns! Here’s what I loved:

♨️ Hot Spring Fun
There’s something magical about soaking in the free public natural hot spring foot baths around the city. Super chill and easy to access — perfect for a break after walking around.

💆♀️ Spa Time at YZ Spa Hotel
I treated myself to a massage and spa session at YZ Spa Hotel. The private hot spring bath + massage combo was absolutely worth it. My body still feels like jelly 😌

🍜 Local Food Adventures
From scallion pancakes to fresh seafood and soy-braised snacks, the street food scene here is so underrated. Don’t miss the local spring onion dishes — they’re famous in this area!

🥾 Hiking in Nature
The trails around Jiaoxi are beautiful — Turtle island and city view, lush greenery, waterfalls, and fresh mountain air. A great way to balance out all the soaking and eating 😄

Highly recommend Jiaoxi for anyone looking for a chill and refreshing weekend away from the city.
