A Peaceful Morning at Xiuhu Park, Yiwu

After a few busy days in Yiwu, I just wanted a quiet spot — no markets, no noise. I ended up at Xiuhu Park (绣湖公园) early in the morning, and it was exactly what I needed.

The park is right in the city center — near Chengzhong North Road, just a short walk from the Yiwu Museum. The lake was calm, with trees reflecting on the water like a painting. Locals were doing tai chi, feeding ducks, or just walking slowly. Everything felt peaceful, simple, and real.

I sat by the water for a while, listening to a man playing a flute nearby. We didn’t speak the same language, but we shared a nod and a smile — enough to feel welcome.

If you’re in Yiwu and want a break from the busy streets, Xiuhu Park is the place to pause, breathe, and enjoy a quiet moment.
