Located near the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, this museum exhibits materials related to the 2001 North Korean spy ship incident.
As soon as you enter, you’ll be greeted by a large ship. The ship, which self-destructed after an armed conflict, is displayed up close for visitors to observe.
The bullet holes left on the ship are strikingly vivid.
This is information you might not encounter in everyday life, but since the museum is free to visit, I felt it was worth stopping by while strolling around Yokohama.
It’s also a great opportunity to learn about the activities of the Japan Coast Guard.
