This uninhabited island is located in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

🚗Access
・The only natural island in Tokyo Bay, it's accessible by boat in about 10 minutes from the pier at Mikasa Park in Yokosuka.

This makes it a great day trip from Tokyo.

The island is surrounded by lush greenery and has well-maintained walking routes. Enjoy forest bathing and hiking while gazing at the ocean, which changes its appearance depending on the season and time of day. A variety of activities, including barbecues, playing on the rocks, and fishing, are available year-round!

While a trip around the island requires some physical strength, it takes less than an hour, even at a leisurely pace, so it's definitely enjoyable.
