Furongzhen, a city like a fairy tale

For anyone considering visiting Fu Rong, the first thing I recommend is to stay overnight. From my experience, it's more convenient to stay outside and walk into the city, as there are a lot of tourists in the city and you have to pay an entrance fee to enter the ancient city. I personally prefer Fenghuang because of its more developed shops and cleanliness. This city is still relatively undeveloped, and walking around the city can be difficult due to the constant uphill and downhill roads. Staying in the city is not recommended, as it can be difficult to carry luggage. There are many restaurants in the city, each competing for a view of the waterfall. Prices are quite expensive and there are time limits, requiring you to order more food. Personally, the city is very beautiful, but I'd only go once. Besides the waterfall, there's nothing particularly interesting. The shops in the ancient city don't sell much, and the layout isn't as beautiful as in other cities. If you've never been there, I highly recommend it. The hotels that are still open are still owned by locals, and they're homestays. Convenience isn't great, and the hotel I stayed at cheated on the Trip app. To summarize, this city is beautiful, but not impressive, due to several factors I've already mentioned.
