Depart from Fukuoka! 🚂Take the Yufuin Forest Train and travel through the dreamy Yufuin in a carriage! 🐴✨

I recently traveled from Fukuoka to the beautiful Yufuin! 🚆 We booked the "Yufuin no Mori" special train. Tickets for this train need to be booked online in advance and picked up at Fukuoka Station. This arrangement makes us look forward to this trip! 🗓️

Taking the JR Kagoshima Main Line from Fukuoka Station, it takes about two hours to reach Yufuin Station. Transportation is very convenient. 🚉 As soon as you arrive at Yufuin, the first thing that catches your eye is the magnificent natural scenery, especially the Kinrin Lake. The lake surface is like a mirror, reflecting the surrounding mountains, which is really refreshing! 🌄

At lunch time, we went to a popular restaurant, "Yufumabushi Shin Yufuin Ekimae Branch", and tasted eel and wagyu beef flavored kamameshi. 🍚 The ingredients of the Kamameshi here are fresh and the flavor is unique, especially the aroma of the eel and the tenderness of the wagyu beef, which makes people linger on the taste! The average per capita consumption is around 3,000 yen, which is very cost-effective. While taking a walk after the meal, we also saw some people taking a tour in a horse-drawn carriage, which was a very romantic feeling. 🐴

We also tried the matcha gelato from the Telato ice cream shop, which had a smooth texture and a rich matcha flavor that lingered on our teeth and cheeks! 🍦 Throughout the trip, we felt the leisurely atmosphere of Yufuin, which is really suitable for relaxing.

Finally, we took the reserved "Yufuin no Mori" train back to Fukuoka. This journey made me linger and I look forward to coming again next time! 💖
