Yufuin is a fairytale-like town with a beautiful lake and is another popular tourist destination near Fukuoka. This charming little town boasts many charming accommodations and onsen hot springs. There are also numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops selling high-quality handmade crafts, as well as numerous art galleries and small museums. If you're visiting Fukuoka, this is another must-see.

The highlight of exploring this city is the Yfuin No Mori sightseeing train. It's incredibly enjoyable, but it fills up quickly and reservations are required.
