Lost in Peach Blossom Land - Lijiang Shiluoke Hotel, a Dreamy Realm Under the Snow Mountain

When traveling to Lijiang, I stayed at the Shiluoke Hotel at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. This experience completely exceeded my expectations. No exaggeration, this is the most atmospheric hotel I have ever stayed in!

Compared to Dayan Ancient Town and Shuhe Ancient Town, there are far fewer tourists here, allowing you to quietly enjoy a leisurely time and experience the authentic Naxi lifestyle. You can walk to Yuhu and Longnv Lakes to feel the peaceful beauty of the plateau lakes.

🏠Rooms: The hotel has only a dozen or so rooms, each with unique views and designs. The rooms are spacious, with the smallest being 60 square meters. The interior features a modern Naxi style, with solid wood furniture, handwoven blankets, and decorative paintings by local artists, all showcasing cultural heritage. All rooms have floor heating, high-end bathrooms, and comfortable bedding. Some room types also have private terraces or hot spring soaking pools. The room I stayed in had a large balcony. Sitting on the balcony in the morning, basking in the sun, looking at the distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and sipping a cup of coffee was truly delightful!

🍱Dining: The restaurant focuses on "farm to table," mostly using local organic ingredients, carefully prepared by chefs combining Eastern and Western culinary techniques. For breakfast, you can enjoy Naxi specialties like baba (flatbread) and butter tea. For main meals, try creative dishes made with plateau ingredients such as matsutake mushrooms and yak meat—every bite is incredibly satisfying!

🎈Experiences: What surprised me most was the hotel's rich activities. During the day, you can hike with a guide to explore Yuhu Village and learn about Naxi history and culture. At night, there are stargazing photography activities where you can capture stunning stars and the Milky Way under a light-pollution-free sky. Additionally, the hotel has a library, audiovisual room, and a small exhibition space that regularly hosts cultural salons and art events.
