Good news, the Sanqing Mountain Free Week in Jiangxi is coming! Limited groups, come quickly to climb high for the Double Ninth Festival. Details are as follows:

Event: Sanqing Mountain Double Ninth Festival

Date: October 29, 2025 - November 4, 2025

Details: Nationwide women aged 50 and above, men aged 55 and above, with their original ID cards, can enjoy free admission to Sanqing Mountain Scenic Area (cable car fees are self-paid).

Highlights: Tour the Immortal Mountain, admire the sea of clouds, visit Sanqing Palace

Notes:

01. The weather on Sanqing Mountain is unpredictable; even on clear days, it may rain. Keep a close eye on weather forecasts and plan your trip accordingly.

02. Pay attention to safety during the climb, especially on steep sections. Do not go alone and follow the scenic area regulations.

03. Prepare appropriate items such as thermal gear and insect repellent.

04. Autumn is the golden tourist season for Sanqing Mountain, with refreshing weather and high visibility, perfect for distant mountain views and cloud sea watching.

05. Keep your ID card and important documents safe.

For first-time visitors to Sanqing Mountain, you can choose from three routes:

Short Loop: Jinsha Cableway → Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain → Eastern Goddess → Goddess Plank Road → Return, takes 2.5 hours.

Medium Loop: Jinsha Cableway → Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain → Eastern Goddess → Azalea Valley → Yutai (excellent for sunrise) → Joyful Jade Maiden → One Line Sky → Rishang Mountain Villa → Yuhuang Peak → Return, takes 4.5 hours.

Long Loop: Jinsha Cableway → Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain → Eastern Goddess → Yuhuang Peak → Sunshine Coast Plank Road → Yujing Peak (summit at 1819m) → Sanqing Palace (Cloud-top Immortal Pavilion) → West Coast Plank Road (cliff sea of clouds) → Rishang Mountain Villa → Return, takes 8 hours.

Especially "Sanqing Palace," a treasure blessing site filled with the mysterious aura of immortality throughout the mountain range. It has ancient steles and Taoist legends, well-preserved since the Tang Dynasty. The architecture is ingeniously arranged according to the Bagua, including palaces, temples, halls, terraces, and towers. Moreover, Sanqing Palace is entirely built from large stones of Sanqing Mountain, serving as an open-air museum of ancient Chinese Taoist architecture. It is the most worthwhile cultural attraction in autumn and perfect for climbing and blessing!

Also, if you have plenty of time, you can choose the route: [Waishuangxi Cableway → Tiyun Ridge → West Coast Scenic Area → Sanqing Palace → Sunshine Coast Scenic Area → Yujing Peak → Yuhuang Peak → Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain → Eastern Goddess → Azalea Valley → Jinsha Cableway]. This route also offers endless scenery, perfect for photos!

However, Uncle Cricket has observed that you must choose either the "Jinsha Cableway" or the "Waishuangxi Cableway" in advance, as the difference is significant.

Transportation

Self-driving: Navigate to "Sanqing Mountain Tourism Service Center - Ground Parking Lot," which has many parking spaces.

Bus: Take the train to "Yushan South Station," then transfer by bus [change to Yushan routes 6/7 to "Yushan Bus Station," then choose "Jinsha Cableway" or "Waishuangxi Cableway"], or take a taxi.

Practical Information for Sanqing Mountain, Jiangxi:

Ticket price is 120 RMB per person, Waishuangxi and Jinsha Cableways are 125 RMB [free for limited groups from October 29, 2025 to November 4, 2025], operating hours are 07:30-17:30. Located in Sanqing Township, Yushan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province (near Jinsha Service Area). Self-driving is highly recommended.
