📍 Directions: Siming Lake Dawn Redwood Forest (self-driving is recommended for easy parking. There is a gravel road near the destination, so wear comfortable shoes)

📌 Best time to visit: Mid-November to mid-December (although the scenery changes throughout the year, the dawn redwood forest is most beautiful in late autumn, with mature rust-red colors. I came early this time and saw lush green)

If you have time, you can also experience the most beautiful mountain road hairpin turns and Bailu Shifeng Viewing Platform in Siming Mountain (the viewing platform is far from the dawn redwood forest, about 30 km)

🏷 Local delicacies: Yuyao Liangnong Cake, a local specialty, can be bought at roadside shops on the way back
