From Bishagang to Yueji Park, a 10 km encounter with spring romance

Have you ever thought about starting a wonderful day with an invigorating morning run? Today, I'm going to share my unique experience with you and take you to appreciate the unique charm of Zhengzhou Bishagang and Yueji Park.

This morning run starts from the historic Bishagang Park, which was built in 1928 by General Feng Yuxiang to commemorate the martyrs of the Northern Expedition. The name means "green blood and red heart, blood-stained yellow sand." The monument to the martyrs of the Northern Expedition in the park is solemn and makes people remember that glorious time. With a green coverage rate of 94.3%, walking through it is like talking to history, and you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the peony garden, magnolia garden and other special parks.

Starting from Bishagang Park, you can quickly reach Yueji Park along the city streets. This place is simply the kingdom of roses, collecting and preserving more than 1,200 varieties, a total of about 300,000 roses. Walking through it is like being in a dreamy sea of flowers.

I made a special trip to run in the park on a weekday morning. Compared to the crowded weekends, the park is less crowded and more beautiful at this time, quiet and comfortable, and you can enjoy the joy of running in an immersive way and get close to nature. After running 10 km, I felt extremely satisfied both physically and mentally.

Transportation Guide:

- Bishagang Park: Bishagang Station of Metro Line 1; Bus B11 and other buses are available.

- Yueji Park: Yueji Park Station of Metro Line 5; Bus B11 also passes through here.

If you also love running, you may want to experience this unique route and feel the unique charm of these two parks in Zhengzhou while exercising.
