Three days and two nights trip to Zhongshan

It was my first time to Zhongshan and I stayed at Zhongshan Atour Hotel. The hotel is in a very good location, just a 5-6 minute walk from the traffic building of the Huandao #环岛直通巴 direct bus station. I heard that the hotel will open in January 2024. The hotel is new and clean, and the price is reasonable. It is my first choice for this trip. The hotel staff is good, polite and friendly.

The hotel is only a 4-5 minute walk from Zhongshan tourist attractions such as Sun Wen West Pedestrian Street and Xingzhong Square, which is very convenient. After arriving, you can also quickly go to the Baobaodian Flavor Claypot Rice Restaurant (West District Branch) near the hotel to eat squab, clay pot rice, etc., which are quite unique. I like their roasted pigeon and claypot rice with frog.

In addition, I also took taxis to different places for food, drink and entertainment, including Liyuan Longdu Restaurant (Shaxi Branch) (I like their 120-day roast chicken with crispy skin and smooth meat, fried stuffed tofu, Shaxi braised pork, and crucian carp soup), Rong Leduo Restaurant in Xingzhong Plaza (I like their dim sum set for two), Shiqi Lao Zhongshan Restaurant (Zhangxi Branch) (personally, I think it is okay to avoid it, the service and food quality are average), Tianyuecheng, Lihe Plaza, etc.

The tourist attractions in Zhongshan are not concentrated, so taking a taxi is the best way to go. It saves a lot of effort and is cheap!
