📍Location
Dongji Island is located at the easternmost tip of the Zhoushan Archipelago, the easternmost inhabited island in mainland China. It consists of Miaozihu Island, Qingbang Island, Dongfushan Island, Huangxing Island, and more, each with its own unique charm.
🚗Transportation
1. Starting Point - Zhoushan:
If departing from Hangzhou, you can take a bus (about 3.5 hours, ~112 RMB) or drive (scenic route, but remember to take breaks).
2. Zhoushan - Dongji Island:
Boats depart exclusively from Zhujiajian Wugongzhi Pier. During peak season (June–September & holidays), book tickets 3 days in advance via the "Zhoushan Haixing Ferry" WeChat official account—tickets sell out fast!
Fares from Zhujiajian to Miaozihu (main island): Lower deck 100 RMB (no windows, AC), middle deck 130 RMB (with windows), upper deck 150 RMB (best views). For Dongfushan or Qingbang Island, buy onboard supplements (30 RMB to Dongfushan, 20 RMB to Qingbang—cash only, so prepare in advance).
