Taxi fares to nearby commercial districts are reasonable, but it's a bit farther to tourist spots like the Sun-Moon Shell.

The service here is impeccable, noticeably superior to the Zhuhai Marriott I stayed at the next day. Upon arrival, the concierge warmly opens your car door, assists with luggage, and escorts you to check-in before delivering your bags to the elevator—waiting until you're inside (a rare touch even among luxury hotels lately). Staff are consistently friendly, greeting guests warmly, and room service is swift. While there's no food-delivery robot, staff will bring your takeout to your room (my friend and I couldn't resist ordering four deliveries—thank you for your hard work!).

Opened in 2018, the hotel is so well-maintained it feels newly opened. Standard rooms, though 45 sqm, feel more spacious. The standalone bathroom features a sunken tub by floor-to-ceiling windows, perfect for evening soaks (though the large mirror facing the tub might make photos awkward). Missed the gym and pool this time, but the outdoor infinity pool reportedly faces the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Public areas are opulent and spacious, with limited seating.

- Thoughtful service: Attentive concierge, warm staff, quick room service, in-room food delivery.
- Infinity pool is a highlight facing the bridge; note Sun-Moon Shell is farther.

Verdict: InterContinental Zhuhai stands out with its prime location, meticulous service, well-kept facilities, and comfort—a top choice, especially for transit or sea-view lovers. Highly recommended.
