The beautiful scenery of Gannan is like a game coming to reality

Gannan's stunning scenery is like a scene from a video game brought to life, breathtaking.

The beauty I experienced on this trip to Gannan is diverse, unique, and full of magic. I particularly enjoyed its distanced, unflattering aesthetic.

Perhaps it was also because we avoided the peak summer season, with fewer crowds and distractions, that the experience was even more beautiful.

🚗Route Recommendation (August 30th - September 3rd)
Day 1: Lanzhou - Gangjia Secret Realm - Labrang Monastery
Day 2: Xiahe - Sangke Grassland - Guomang Wetland - Langmusi
Day 3: Langmusi - Zoige Flower Lake - The First Bend of the Nine-Bend Yellow River - Tangke/Zoige
Day 4: Tangke - Zhagana
Day 5: Zhagana - Milarepa Buddhist Temple - Disband in Lanzhou City

⛰️Recommended Attractions
▪️ Gangjia Secret Realm
My favorite mountain of the trip, Baishi Cliff, rises from the ground at the end of the grassland, forming a cliff that stretches for tens of kilometers. Its nearly vertical cliffs and flat top form a massive natural wall. The minimal vegetation and cold colors create a desolate, apocalyptic aesthetic.

▪️ Namor Grand Canyon
It's like a scene from "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" brought to life. Hiking through this area requires navigating a field of horse manure before entering an open valley, crisscrossed by shrubs, rocks, streams, canyons, and meadows. If you're lucky, you might even spot marmots in caves. If you enjoy playing Zelda, you'll love this place.

▪️Gannan Xiaoduku (County Road 550)
Even though I haven't been to the Duku Highway, the scenery here is breathtaking. The route is picturesque, passing through flat grasslands, alpine canyons, and mountain forests, creating a rich variety of landscapes.

▪️Zhagana
Morning mist is at its most beautiful, lingering like a fairy-like aura over the mountains. The view from the Rock Observation Deck is like a wide-angle lens, offering a panoramic view of the mountains and villages. Such otherworldly, magical scenes are usually only seen in games or movies.

▪️Rock Road
If you need an excuse to learn to drive, driving along the Rock Road is one of them. While Zhagana offers distant mountain views, the Rock Road leads deep into the mountains, winding up and down, offering breathtaking views from every angle. Every turn offers a surprising, wallpaper-like scene.

Travel is unique to each individual. Weather, crowds, and route planning all influence the experience. Everyone's tastes and preferences are unique, and only personal experience truly captures the essence.

Furthermore, Gannan's beauty is dynamic, difficult to capture with a few photos or a few words. The feeling of seeing a game scene come alive is truly unique.
